Reposted are more highlights from my "NightLife Show" which ran on local cable TV in FL from 1980-1986. This condensed episode features a look at the beginnings of audio compact discs and video laser discs (which later evolved into DVDs). Kerry explains the process behind audio CDs and then Ray Glasser in Cleveland, OH shows the technology behind the original video laser discs. This 1985 program also shows the Magnavox laser disc player. At the time, this was all-new technology that would take over analog records and video tapes.
