Refilling Philips/Magnavox CRTs Video Clips. Duration : 15.35 Mins.
This is the final shortened version of my video describing the process I have used for many years to refill the CRTs in a Philips/Magnavox big screen rear projection television. The operation was performed in front of the camera live in the TV shop that I contract my labor to. The cost of the coupling fluid varies, but is usually less than .00 US(in the US). I have enough practice that I can do the labor in under 2 hours(for two tubes; blue and green). This repair procedure is usually priced at around 0 in my area. NOTE: This video was shot in 2004 and since then I have discontinued refilling the red, as the red CRTs are never cloudy or yellowed.
